A Dollarama location and an adjacent daycare are among the latest Toronto properties on the chopping block to satiate the city's unquenchable demand for new housing. A recent development application filed with the City could spell out the end of the current businesses at 4975 Dundas St. W., just northwest of Islington subway station in Etobicoke. This Dollarama location and the adjacent Willowbrook Academy daycare facility have occupied the building at 4975 Dundas Street West since 2018. The property is just the latest in a growing handful of Dollarama locations targeted for redevelopment across the city. This Etobicoke location joins other planned Dollarama teardowns at 20 Leslie St., 543 Yonge St., and 1099 Broadview Ave.
