The portal architecture forms the basis for a powerful, customer-centred, and interoperable digital ecosystem. The new portal architecture therefore contributes to increased efficiency and process optimisation, avoids redundant development processes, and reduces maintenance costs. The new portal architecture uses state-of-the-art technologies and accesses the highly productive core system applications of the AOK community via a standardised integration layer.
