A group of dogs recently saved from an animal testing facility that was secretly — and shockingly — housed in an Ontario hospital will soon be among the most eligible adoptable pets in the province.
Canadian animal law advocacy group Animal Justice and research animal rescue organization The Beagle Alliance had been integral in shedding light on this case, and thus, were expected to be the ones who would eventually arrange for the dogs' rehabilitation.
"St. Joseph's put out a statement earlier today about how they have released the dogs in their care, and that they went to a reputable organization.
I'm just making it known that that organization was not us," Cohen explained in an Instagram post addressing the situation.
Unfortunately, now we likely won't be contacted because of the anonymity of what is going on," she stated.
