The bird, a rare Hyacinth Macaw, had escaped from Toronto and was missing for three days before it was ultimately found. After a three-day adventure across Toronto and Mississauga, a rare Hyacinth Macaw is back home safe with its owner. "A huge thanks to Mississauga's animal services team on ensuring she got home safely to her family," one person wrote. The City encouraged any residents who find an animal in distress, or that is injured or sick, to contact Mississauga Animal Services.
