A Toronto restaurant that's been a local staple for over a decade is closing permanently to move out of the city.
When it comes to Cuban food, however, the options — though great — are decidedly limited, and, since 2012, Roncesvalles' La Cubana has been the undisputed champion for the cuisine in the city.
According to a recent announcement from the restaurant, though, it'll soon be the end of an era for La Cubana.
"So, after 13 years on Roncy, we've decided to shut down this location," Mozo explains in a video posted to La Cubana's Instagram last week.
While this is the end of La Cubana's Roncesvalles era, it's not all bad news.
