The 2025 Toronto Michelin Guide has landed, and a whole new crop of restaurants is walking away with stars. The annual Michelin Guide ceremony is to the Toronto culinary world what the Academy Awards are to the film industry: a night of glitz and glamour, honouring the best of the best on the local food landscape. In what could perhaps be the first major upset in the history of the Toronto Michelin Guide, Sushi Masaki Saito, which has historically been the most-awarded restaurant in Canada, has had one of its Two Stars removed, bringing it down to a One-Star rating. On the other hand, Lincoln's Restaurant Pearl Morissette has taken over the throne, being awarded a Two-Star rating, on top of a Green Star.
