A Toronto business is looking to its community for support as the family behind its operations faces two challenging health battles. The couple behind the store, David Wong and his wife, Charlene, have lived in the Upper Beaches for nearly a decade and have become embedded in the Kingston Road Village community. At the beginning of the summer, David was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and has since been receiving treatment at Princess Margaret. On top of this, David has been supporting Charlene through her battle with Parkinson's Disease for the past 15 years. "My mom and I are back at the Stavro Family YMCA every day, which is really important to help with her condition."
