Fall colours in Ontario are a sight to behold, and if you want to experience them for yourself, then take a trip to the Halton County Radial Railway (HCRR), hop on one of their vintage streetcars, and go on a nature escape.
Located in Guelph, Ont., HCRR takes riders on a two-kilometre journey through a canopy of autumn leaves, highlighting the vibrant fall colours that take over surrounding trees and foliage this time of year.
The HCRR is an electric railway museum that operates a fleet of vintage, decommissioned Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) streetcars, which transport visitors on a short tour along a rail circuit across the property.
So, if you're a pet parent who wants to take your four-legged friend out on a fall adventure, they're welcome at HCRR as long as they're kept on a leash.
The railway is open for fall tours from Sept. 1 through Oct. 27, operating on the weekends and holidays.
