Of course, landing on a list that celebrates neighbourhoods shaping culture around the world only means Davenport isn't just cool by Toronto standards, it's officially on the global "coolness" radar.
The only other Canadian locale to make this coveted list is Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal — coming in at number 22 — known for its buzzy nightlife and extravagant atmosphere.
It seems like Montreal is a regular on the radar for the world's coolest cities, because Saint-Henri snagged spot number 13 on Time Out's 2024 list.
For anyone new to this ranking system, Time Out employs its network of global writers to weigh in on which neighbourhoods they feel deserve the title of the world's coolest.
Aside from Davenport in Toronto and Montreal's Plateau Mont-Royal, cities like Red Hook in New York, Anjos in Lisbon, and Portales in Mexico City are also among the top hotspots in the world.
