Despite almost being hunted to the brink of extinction, sea otters in the United States are seeing an important recovery. Sea Otter Awareness Week offers us another opportunity to learn more, and let’s be honest, look at pictures and videos of these furry mammals. This year’s theme is Anchored in Hope, in honor of the spirit of recovery and connectedness between sea otters, their ecosystem, and humans.
