Toyota has issued a new recall in Canada, citing safety concerns that a defect could increase the risk of a crash.
In a statement first posted on Oct. 1, Transport Canada said that 32,733 Toyota vehicles are affected by a nationwide recall due to an issue with the visual system.
"Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing."
The recall impacts two types of Toyota vehicles: the Sequoia and Tundra.
Sequoia vehicles from 2023 to 2025, along with Tundra vehicles from 2022 to 2025, are included.
