A Toronto restaurant that was a local favourite is about to be replaced by a trendy new pizza joint. Coming soon to Harbord Village, Nice Slice, Think It Cafe's usurper, will be a casual yet chic pizza joint serving "hot slices, whole pies, cold beer and wine by the glass." According to an Instagram post from Aug. 29, the new pizza joint is "getting closer" to opening. As a certified pie fiend myself, I can only hope that means Nice Slice will open its doors sooner, rather than later. Sigh... good thing there's no shortage of other great pizza places in Toronto that can fill the void.
