Canadians who are eligible for the Advanced Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB) can expect to receive payments this week. According to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), ACWB payments are issued in three automatic installments throughout the year. Canadians who are eligible for the CWB on their tax return will receive advanced payments of up to 50 per cent of the CWB through the ACWB. Canadians received their first increased ACWB payment in July, following a 2.7 per cent increase due to indexation. The maximum basic and disability CWB payment will vary for residents of Quebec, Nunavut, and Alberta.
