The day is nearly here: Slammie Sammies is making its epic return to the Toronto food scene this weekend, as the sandwich shop gears up for the grand opening of its first-ever permanent location. Now, the sandwich shop has secured a new location — fittingly, in a space that once housed a Subway location — and is preparing to open its doors within a matter of days. Slammie Sammies' brand-new permanent location officially opens for business from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 11. Slammie Sammies is located at 828 Eastern Ave.
