From now until Dec. 14, Koffler Arts is hosting contemporary artist Tracey Snelling for her Canadian debut with INTERGALACTIC PLANETARY — an exhibition that’s part global journey, part cosmic daydream, and best of all, completely free to experience. Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a colourful, immersive, and very Instagrammable environment that blurs the line between reality and imagination. Snelling brings together sculpture, photography, video, and installation for a dazzling mashup of different worlds, geographies, and perspectives. It’s a nod to global (or maybe even galactic) unity, highlighting that despite all the noise and division, we’re a lot more alike than we think. The gallery is also continuously adding public programs for this exhibition — including the upcoming Gallery Talk & City Stroll, where writer Shawn Micallef will connect the themes in INTERGALACTIC PLANETARY to Toronto’s neighbourhoods and streetscapes.
