A much-loved Greek restaurant on one of Toronto's trendiest streets is about to open a new location after over 10 years in the neighbourhood. It's all exciting, to be sure, but one bit of news from the Mamakasphere stands above the rest: after 10 years on Ossington, Mamakas will soon be opening a second location in Summerhill. "This next chapter has been in motion for some time," Thanos Tripi tells blogTO. "We weren't in a rush to grow for growth's sake—we wanted the right space, the right energy, and the right community. Tripi tells blogTO that, while the Summerhill location will still be undeniably Mamakas, "every space tells its own story."
