A craft brewery, a distillery and a catering company all join forces at the same Toronto address: it sounds too good to be true, but that's exactly what's happening at 90 Cawthra Ave. When the tap ran dry for good on stalwart Stockyards brewery People's Pint back in 2023, craft beer fanatics in the neighbourhood (of which there are plenty), the heartbreak was palpable. Two years after People's Pint closed its doors, though, craft brewing has finally returned to the unit at 90 Cawthra Ave., and this time, it takes the shape of Samara Brewing Co., the city's newest dog-friendly craft brewery. Let's face it, though: when dogs are allowed inside, you've already got all the entertainment sorted out. At the time of publication, Samara Brewing Co. is open Monday to Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
