The biggest T&T Supermarket location in Ontario is gearing up to open in a Toronto mall. Loblaw and T&T have since confirmed the transformation, announcing that the Vancouver-based Canadian Asian supermarket chain (which was acquired by Loblaw in July 2009) will soon take over the former Loblaws space. Among the store's features, T&T states that this location will feature the largest bakery section in Ontario, offering over 150 varieties of baked goods. The new T&T location is also set to feature the largest Asian beauty section in the province, offering thousands of cosmetic products from across Asia. The RioCan Empress location is one of two new Ontario T&T locations set to open in 2026, along with a new outpost in Mississauga.
