A landmark event in Canadian history is taking place in Toronto on Nov. 15, and you can get in on the action. The Northern Super League (NSL) is Canada’s first — and only — professional women’s soccer league. Founded by former Canadian National Women’s Team player Diana Matheson, NSL's goal is to create a pathway for Canadians to play professional soccer at home. But it’s going out with a bang by hosting the Northern Super League Final on Nov. 15 at BMO Field in Toronto, when Vancouver Rise FC will take on either Montreal Roses FC or AFC Toronto. It’s the first NSL final, after all, but it certainly won’t be the last.
