The WWE is coming back to Toronto — and it's bringing a piece of exciting news for local fans as well. On Wednesday, MLSE announced a long-term strategic partnership with the WWE, allowing the world's biggest wrestling company close access to things like merch collabs, athlete appearances and community events. WWE seems to have recognized Toronto's place as a major player on the global wrestling scene, and wants to create a more formal partnership with the city's biggest sports ownership group. The partnership also comes with the announcement of the next show in Toronto, a Monday Night Raw event on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. One of the pieces of the deal comes with the news that select WWE stars will appear at Leafs games on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 27, with Toronto sports personalities also in attendance at Monday Night Raw.
