University of Toronto just ranked second-best school in the world in this category

The University of Toronto (U of T) was just named the second-best university worldwide according to sustainability rankings.
The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026 report ranked U of T second overall with an impressive 99.8 score, but it wasn't enough for the institution to secure the top spot for a third consecutive year.
U of T's environmental impact scores were all exceptional, scoring 95.1 in environmental sustainability, 99.9 in environmental education, and 98.9 in environmental research.
U of T outpaced other top Canadian schools in the ranking, including the University of British Columbia (#5), McGill University (#9), and Western University (#24).
