Toronto's Ace Hotel is transforming its rooftop bar, Evangeline, into an outdoor winter chalet attraction offering a real curling rink. The Winter Chalet Pop-Up takes over the restaurant next month, featuring a specially curated menu and some unexpected rooftop fun for patrons to enjoy for free. Winter sports lovers can flex their curling skills on the hotel's rooftop, which will be transformed into an outdoor curling rink, Lot 40, overlooking the city's vast skyline. The Winter Chalet Pop-Up will run from Dec. 2 to Feb. 28, 2026, with reservations available from Sunday through Thursday each week. The experience will take place at Ace Hotel's Evangeline rooftop bar, located at 51 Camden St.
