A Canadian airline is set to make history next year with the launch of a new non-stop flight service connecting Toronto and Accra, marking the first non-stop air link between the city and Ghana. As part of its summer 2026 program expansion, Accra becomes Air Transat's fourth destination in Africa, following newly announced routes to Dakar, Agadir, and Marrakech. The forthcoming non-stop service is expected to streamline travel between the two countries, which often means one or two stops with long layovers in between. Currently, travelling between Toronto and Accra means connecting through international cities like Casablanca, Rome, New York City, Washington D.C., Lisbon, or London, to name a few. Flights are now available for booking online at Air Transat's website.
