The Finch West LRT will officially open on Dec. 7, 2025. A report produced for an upcoming Nov. 27 Metrolinx Board of Directors meeting reveals that the transit agency has locked in an opening date. "Major readiness milestones in relation to the opening of the line have been achieved. "Metrolinx is working with the TTC to prepare for the start of revenue service on December 7, 2025." The 18-stop, 10.3-kilometre light rail line will serve Finch Avenue West from Keele Street to Highway 27, before turning south to the Humber College north campus.
