Toronto's Queen's Park North might soon undergo a major revitalization, which could add a cafe and kiosk and relocate its recognizable equestrian statue.
As part of the project, a City survey, which is open until Dec. 14, is seeking feedback on design concepts, park amenities, and programming.
One key proposal is the relocation of the equestrian statue of King Edward VII, which is part of Toronto's public art collection.
Originally in Delhi, India, the statue was sold in the mid-20th century and installed in Queen's Park North in 1969, following the independence of India from Great Britain.
The feedback collected through the survey is set to be included in staff's report to City Council in early 2026.
