TTC subway closures this weekend will affect thousands of riders relying on the western end of the Line 2 Bloor-Danforth. The transit agency has announced that it will shutter service on a significant portion of Line 2 for the entire weekend of Saturday, Nov. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025. Subway service will be halted on a stretch of the route spanning approximately 6.8 kilometres from Keele Station to the line's western terminus at Kipling. Unlike other recent subway closures in the downtown core, the TTC will operate replacement shuttle buses to address the significant gap in subway coverage — connecting passengers with key inter-city connections at the west end of Line 2. The TTC plans to resume regular subway service on Monday, Dec. 1, at approximately 6 a.m.
