Canadians who take ibuprofen may want to check if the brand that they buy has been affected by Health Canada's latest recall.
The alert says the recall is due to a "presence of cloudy capsules in affected lots due to crystallization of ibuprofen into the gelatin shell."
If you think you've taken the affected medication, Health Canada advises you to "consult your health care professional if you have any health concerns."
Health Canada advises Canadians to first verify if they have the affected ibuprofen before consulting a healthcare provider, prior to discontinuing the use of the affected product, or for any health concerns.
Lastly, Health Canada suggests Canadians report any health product-related side effects or any other complaints.
