Masellis Supermarket teased customers with a Facebook post on Nov. 21, announcing, "Masellis Supermarket will be closed on Monday, Nov. 24 due to an on-site filming shoot." Customers quickly filled the comments section with excitement over their beloved local shop being graced by Dempsey himself. Masellis Supermarket has served the local community for the past 66 years, and remains a reliable go-to for meats, pantry staples, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, and deli items. Locals and fans of both Masellis and Dempsey are definitely excited to see the final product with Toronto's very own supermarket featured in the series.
