Two portions of the TTC subway, adding up to over five and a half kilometres, will be shut down for the entire coming weekend. The TTC has announced overlapping full-weekend subway outages affecting both Line 1 and Line 2 for the weekend of Dec. 6 and Dec. 7, 2025. Upcoming closures are among some of the final major outages planned for 2025, among a total of 38 full weekend closures announced at the start of the year.
