Research Infosource Inc. released a report this week outlining the top research universities, colleges and hospitals in Canada, as well as the Top 15 Federal Government research & development performers. To determine the universities' rankings, factors such as faculty headcount, graduate student enrollment and financial data from Statistics Canada were closely looked at. University of Ottawa and McMaster University round out the top 10, taking the 7th and 9th spots, respectively.
