When my dishwasher recently stopped working, I bought the one we recommend for most people as a replacement: Bosch’s 300 series.
To be clear, it ain’t cheap (though in the range of dishwasher prices, it’s not bad).
The utensil rack is small, as I typically like one that spans the full depth of the dishwasher.
There’s even an extra quiet mode, but I haven’t had to use it yet given how damn near silent this thing is on default.
(Extra quiet mode also jacks the washing time up further.)
