Last week’s ceremony was filled with all kinds of whimsical sartorial moments, from <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/chappell-roan-does-balletcore-like-only-she-could-at-the-2025-grammys">Chappell Roan’s rodeo clown get-up</a> to <a href="https://goss.ie/showbiz/meet-the-irish-designer-behind-sabrina-carpenters-grammys-gown-408207">Sabrina Carpenter’s perfectly kitsch plumage</a>, and it all affirmed my belief that <a href="https://www.eater.com/24290737/feeling-helpless-post-election-stress-cook-meal-for-community-volunteer-food-bank">strange times</a> call for stranger fashion in the best way possible. You can also opt to personalize the gloves with a name or monogram on the site. Alternatively, you could buy a <a href="https://www.amazon.com/cleaning-Household-Reuseable-dishwashing-Kitchen/dp/B09X9T8BCM/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?tag=eater0c-20" rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" target="_blank">3-pack of rubber gloves on Amazon</a> for one-fifth of the price, and plug in your glue gun. But that’s also not the point (reminder: absurdist joy! Unbridled expression in the subversion of what has sometimes been seen as an <a href="https://www.ipl.org/essay/Oppression-In-John-Steinbecks-The-Chrysanthemums-347171CD9A54F29D">oppressive domestic</a> symbol!). </p> <p id="BxZjMG">Gohar World has been on my radar ever since I saw its Marie Antoinette-worthy <a href="https://go.redirectingat.com?id=66960X1516589&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fcomingsoonnewyork.com%2Fproducts%2Fbaguette-bag%3Fvariant%3D45529773408562&amp;referrer=eater.com&amp;sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eater.com%2F2025%2F2%2F7%2F24361208%2Fjulia-fox-gohar-world-gloves" rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" target="_blank">baguette bag</a>, which is wildly out of my price range, but continues to aspirationally linger in my tabs. Fox has become a <a href="https://www.interviewmagazine.com/television/julia-fox-on-dumpster-diving-and-fashion-disasters">champion of sustainable and small-scale fashion</a>, often choosing to wear emerging labels and indie brands that work with upcycled and unconventional materials, including old <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DDNEw3sSIJr/">flip phones</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DDnJhBCzoZh/">chainmail</a>, and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/juliafox/reel/ClJhXeTLVWG/">fall foliage</a>. </p> <p id="XDx3gB">Fox’s gloves may not be the most practical accessory, but that’s not what I’m hoping for from the Grammy’s red carpet fashions.
