Two of the warriors were teenagers at the time of their death and a third was likely the father of the youngest warrior. A range of high-status grave goods was discovered with the burials, including silver, gold, and weapons. In all, the archaeologists uncovered 81 coins, mostly from northern Italy, which the warriors could have obtained while fighting there. Early analysis of all three bodies showed they enjoyed a diet high in animal proteins, but there were no clues as to the cause of death of the warrior trio.
