A Bronx drill rapper and alleged gang member has been indicted in connection with a midtown Manhattan shooting that left a New York Jets defensive player critically wounded, according to prosecutors.
Authorities alleged that Green was armed and fired his weapon twice during the confrontation.
One of the bullets struck Boyd in the abdomen, traveled through his body, and ultimately punctured one of his lungs.
Although Boyd was later released, he was readmitted during the Thanksgiving holiday after suffering health complications related to the shooting and remains hospitalized.
He is currently being held without bail, and his next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 15.
