Kanye West Apologizes for Antisemitic Outbursts: ‘I Lost Touch With Reality’

Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, apologized for his years of antisemitic and other controversial comments in a full-page advertisement in The Wall Street Journal.
A day after his apology, West spoke to Vanity Fair and acknowledged the scrutiny around the timing of his open letter, which comes ahead of the release of his album Bully.
And that is one of love and positivity.”West expressed similar sentiments in his apology letter, explaining he “lost touch with reality,” during his manic episodes.
