Moon Astronauts Enter Quarantine for Launch

NASA will conduct its wet dress rehearsal (WDR) in advance of a launch as early as January 31. The rehearsal is designed to run through the entire launch — while the astronauts are still in quarantine — to ensure that all systems are go. If all goes according to plan, the agency’s Space Launch System rocket could launch as early as February 6, though an official date has yet to be announced. It’s an exciting prospect, as it’ll be the first time humans have ventured to the Moon in over half a century.
