Fresh off of earning K-pop’s first-ever Grammy Award, the stars of Netflix’s smash hit KPop Demon Hunters will perform at the BAFTA Film Awards later this month.
EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform the movie’s headlining track, “Golden,” marking their first time performing live outside of the United States.
In a statement released Tuesday, the group said they were “proud” to perform at Britain’s biggest night in film, adding that it’s a “golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined.” The BAFTAs will air on Sunday, Feb. 22.
KPop Demon Hunters is a runaway success story for Netflix, pulling in more than 500 million streams since its premiere in October.
“It does feel so miraculous in some ways and destined in other ways … We’re just trying to process it all,” Nuna told reporters after “Golden” took home the award for Best Song For Visual Media at Sunday’s Grammys.
