Rolling Stone is proud to announce the full lineup for our Future of Music showcase at South by Southwest 2026 (SXSW). The headliner is Dallas’ own BigXthaPlug, whose catalog of hits draws on his home state’s rich traditions of hip-hop and country music. Rolling Stone‘s Future of Music showcase is the best place to find your favorite new artists — and get a chance to tell your friends you saw a superstar back when they were coming up. The SXSW showcase is tied to our annual Future of Music issue, out April 2026, with stories on the most exciting rising artists across all genres rolling out in mid-March. A number of tickets will also be reserved for SXSW Platinum and Music Badge Holders and SXSW Music Festival wristband holders.
