In the pretest interview, the examiner asked, "Did you make any false statements on your application?" It was an eye-opener, even though it confirmed what I'd already begun to suspect, that the polygraph didn't work. In late September, Polygraph asked me to come in. My TS/SCI from CIA was still active, but I knew that eventually CIA would want me to take a polygraph. A few days after I'd told the clerk I'd get back to him, I gave a presentation about the work I'd been doing on my task.
