Having opted out of the Crosby deal, they signed the best remaining pass rusher on the market, Trey Hendrickson, to a four-year, $120 million deal.
Saffold went back into free agency and signed a five-year, $31.3 million deal to return to St. Louis.
When the Ravens made the Crosby trade, though, they already knew that Hendrickson was going to be hitting free agency.
