The following are a number of tips on how to at least somewhat secure your data when carrying a phone. If you can, leave your phone at homeYour phone carries a lot of information about you specifically. Download and use more secure, encrypted apps for communication rather than the default text messaging apps on the phone (we’ll share some examples later). Use secure appsIf you’re using your own phone, or even if you’re using a burner phone, it’s a good idea to use especially secure apps. If you’re using an Android phone, you may want to use a more secure browser than Chrome.
